School days are divided into up to four time periods. Saturday is divided into three time periods. Sunday has only two time periods. Each time period has 20 real-time minutes, although this can be changed in the options menu. Note that time also passes during H scenes.

Characters not present will show a small [[File:AA2_House_Icon.jpg]] when you check the class roster. For a few minutes, the other characters will be unable to detect your arrival, even those present at the station with you. The chance increases but remains low the longer you remain there.
