廃墟メルベル - Ruins of Meruberu

General Info

• Access: talk to adventurer in Slave City Shrike Inn, 2F
• Many enemies are soldiers and heavy armor. Morning star, chain, hammer and magic are recommended.

Layout

Buldings

• Most of the buildings contain monsters and NPC's with minimal dialogue
• If character dies in any of these no special end

Inn

• Game can be saved here
• Fairy can be used to restore HP and MP

Bar

• One of the only maps where all the NPC's are harmless

Well

• Inhabitant explains current situation of the city

Castle

• Contains Demon-boss and minions, but everything may not be as it seems....
• As soon as you enter, the boss will offer you to surrender. Choosing "yes" is instant game over.
• The boss fight involve lots of normal ennemies along with the boss. Full screen attack item, and/or strong charged magic can help cleaning up. Expect fear and bleeding status a lot. The boss awkard movement can make him easy to kill if you stay on a side of the map, luring him into the pillars.

Unlocking 洗脳都市メルベル - City Merberu

• to turn the city back in to the City Meruberu you must:
  • purchase the '催眠解除薬' (Hypnosis release medicine) from the dog in Ray-On (should be last item)
  • Defeat boss then speak to Hynpo pokemon
  • after conversation he should be unable to hypnotise due to the medicine, breaking the spell on the city
