English edition
The RyonaRPG 2026 English Edition is complete and distributed as a directly playable game. It uses the qualified Steam RPG Maker 2000 1.62 project format. Its English text is written into the database, maps and common events, and its player-facing graphical text has also been localized. The old runtime translation, machine-translation builds and RPGMaker Trans patch are no longer required.
Download and play
- Open the RyonaRPG English Edition repository.
- Download the repository as a ZIP and extract it completely.
- Open the extracted English-edition game folder.
- Run
PLAY NATIVE ENGLISH.bat. This launches the bundled EasyRPG Player with the tested settings.
Do not run the game from inside the ZIP, and do not move or rename individual game files. No separate Japanese game, translation patch, text hook or RPG Maker RTP installation is needed.
Although RPG_RT.exe is included for compatibility, the supplied EasyRPG launcher is the supported and recommended way to play this edition.
Translation status
The current release contains the complete English localization, including dialogue, database text, system terminology and graphical UI text. The game also received layout, control-code, resource and runtime testing.
RyonaRPG is exceptionally large and draws on many games and fan works, so isolated wording or reference errors may still be found. Future releases may incorporate corrections from bilingual human review; the current translation is nevertheless complete and playable.
Other operating systems
EasyRPG Player is available for several operating systems. Install the appropriate version from the official EasyRPG downloads page, then use it to open the extracted game directory. Keep the directory structure and Japanese resource filenames intact.
Reporting a problem
Report reproducible translation or runtime problems through the project issue tracker. Include the map or screen involved, what happened and a screenshot when possible.
