The slave mode is a special status the player's character may be in. Quite a number of town events are different when the player's character is a slave.
+
Slave mode is a persistent character state built around the slave collar. It changes equipment, titles, services, dialogue and event availability. It is not a difficulty setting, and it is not the same as every route in which a character is captured or restrained.

Becoming a slave
+
The game distinguishes between wearing a collar and having full slave status. That difference explains why some events work with the collar alone while others require the complete RAYON slave outfit.
To become a partial slave, your character needs to wear the 淫虐の首輪 in her Magic (4th) slot. This can be obtained in a few different ways:

* Creating a character as a 肉奴隷 (4th type of girl).

* Losing a tournament match when your character doesn't have enough money to pay the ante.

* Losing a card match in the pub of 首都アバロソ, and your current gold is -50000 or more.

* Using the cheat mode to get the item. The Item ID is 0808.

To become a full sex slave, have your partial-slave character go talk to the sister in the church of Ray-On Village.

Becoming free
+
Quick answer
;Method One

* Advantages

** works with partial slave

* Disadvantages:

** 75% chance of game over

** Costs 1 gold

* Process

*# Visit the RAY-ONの村 pub, talk to the Japanese swordsman on the left side and buy a 塩昆布 (0178) from him for 1 gold.

*# Go to 裏通り, find a black-haired guy and talk to him, then pick the 3rd option この首輪を斬ってください!. There is a 75% probability that your character will get KO-ed in the process, become captured and end up in a Bad Ending. Ie., there is only a 25% chance that your character can actually be freed.

;Method Two
+
If you only want to escape slave mode, use one of these routes:
* Advantages

** Free

* Disadvantages

** Only works with full sex slave

** Game over if character has already been "altered" by the Life Scientists 15 times or more.

** Becomes futanari and gains almost all sex-related attributes (or is this an advantage?)

* Process

*# Make sure the character is a full sex slave

*# Visit the 生命科学研究所 (Life Science Institute), go to ダイジョーブ博士 (Dr. NOPROBLEM)'s lab

*# Talk to the doc, and pick first option.

;Method Three
+
* Buy a Collar Key from the Sister in RAYON Village Church for 20,000 G.
* Advantages
+
* Give Salted Kelp to the samurai in the Back Alley and ask him to cut off the collar. This is dangerous.
** Free
+
* Accept Doctor Daijobu's offer in the Life Sciences Research Institute. This removes the collar but subjects the character to 15–20 random modifications.
* Disadvantages
+
* If the collar came from debt, repay that debt through the same institution. The Island Colosseum route has an additional paperwork trap, so read before signing.
** More hassle

** Requires another character to become partial slave in place of the current character

* Process

*# Utilize an event to force the removal of your current 4th slot equipment. Possible events include:

*#* Being defeated in 無想の森

*#* Being captured (and later rescued) in the goblin cave of 近くの森 (Nearby Forest)

*#* Being infested by a bug that goes in the 4th equipment slot

*# If your character is a full sex slave instead of just a partial slave, also utilize event to force removal of your current 1st slot equipment. Possible events include:

*#* Being captured (and later rescued) in the goblin cave of 近くの森 (Nearby Forest)

*#* Being infested by a bug that goes in the 1st equipment slot

*# Without ever going into the menu mode since step 1, visit the RAY-ONの村 inn 1st floor, and open the fourth door from the left to switch characters.

*# Pick a different character, set her character type to anything except 肉奴隷 (4th type)

*# With the new character, open the menu then close it. She'll now be equipped with the collar of your previous character

*# Swap back to your previous character. She's now free!

* Note

** If only the collar is removed and not the handcuff, then even after the collar is transferred to another character, the handcuff will generate another collar for your old character!

;What doesn't work
+
These methods do not override a destroyed keyhole or a route that explicitly makes the collar permanent. See Permanent and special collars.
* If your character becomes a slave through method two (losing tournament), the receptionist promises you will be freed if you repay all your debt. However, if you visit her with enough money to repay your debt, she'll first congratulate you, then apologizes for getting the wrong key to unlock your collar, and tell you to come back another day so she can get the right key. She will not let you completely repay your debt, and she'll in fact never find the key!

;Ray-On Village streets

* When talking to the yellow-haired woman on the street, she will strip off your armor and taunt you (cannot get information about the Colosseum). Tells you to talk to the sister in the church.

;Ray-On Village inn

* The innkeeper will not rent you a regular room, but will let you sleep in the dog house for free (doesn't heal much from sleeping)

;Ray-On Village Weapon/Armor store

* The Weapon/Armor merchant will not sell any weapons, and the list of armor he sell will be different (mostly embarrassing armor)

* The Accessory merchant will not sell regular accessories, but instead will sell various infesting bugs.

* The Mithril Trader will refuse to deal with you

;Ray-On Village Pub

* The Bartender would not give you any jobs

* The blue-haired "Hit & Blow" player would not offer to play, but would tie you up and abuse you.

* The bunny girl will have a different dialogue

;Ray-On Village Church

* The right door will lead to the imprisoned game over ending.

* Talking to the sister will turn your character into a full sex slave (cannot get her to remove cursed equipment from you).

! State
*Nakoruru will be equipped the dog collar (Item ID 0862) after about 3 times of abuse, this will remove the slave collar and thus, remove your status as a slave. The next time will result in the dog tail and ears (Item ID 0863) being equipped. These items will change her portrait and cannot be removed. When the set is complete, Nakoruru will be unable to equip any armor, and will not be able to remove either items even with the help of such things as tentacles, etc. The set will reduce all stats to 1, except for defence. The set is also buggy and will cause crashes at times. The set will not consider the character to be a slave.

Collar Key
 +

 +
The safest standard method is the Collar Key (item 0225).
 +

 +
# Complete the RAYON church scene that adds the Sex-Slave Chain.
 +
# Speak to the Sister again and choose the silent response.
 +
# Buy the key for 20,000 G.
 +
# Use the key while the supported collar is still intact.
 +

 +
The key removes the intact Depravity Collar and its linked Sex-Slave Chain, then breaks. It cannot remove a Depravity Collar whose keyhole has been destroyed, and it cannot open the keyless Torment Collar used by Escapee Mode.
 +

 +
Back Alley samurai
 +

 +
The samurai in the Back Alley can cut off an ordinary slave collar.
 +

 +
* Bring Salted Kelp (item 0178), which his dialogue calls salted kombu.
 +
* Choose the request to cut off the collar.
 +
* He removes the collar and linked chain, but the cut has a random outcome.
 +

 +
The safe result simply frees the character. A bad result causes severe injury; the worst result leaves the character collapsed and in need of rescue by another character. This route does not work after the collar has been made lifelong.
 +

 +
Doctor Daijobu
 +

 +
Doctor Daijobu in the Life Sciences Research Institute offers to pay off the character's slave debt in exchange for body modifications.
 +

 +
Accepting starts a sequence of 15–20 random modifications. If the character survives the sequence, the collar and chain are removed, the debt is cleared and the actor receives a character-specific former-slave title. The modifications and their side effects remain.
 +

 +
This is a high-risk escape route. Save before accepting it.
 +

 +
Island Colosseum repayment
 +

 +
# Earn enough gold and choose Repay Debt at the Colosseum desk.
 +
# Pay the full displayed balance.
 +
# Return after the staff have had time to locate the correct key.
 +
# When release papers are presented, read them carefully instead of signing immediately.
 +

 +
Signing the first papers without checking them seals the collar's keyhole and makes the character a lifelong slave. Reading the papers exposes the false agreement and allows the genuine release process to continue.
 +

 +
Capital Abaroso casino repayment
 +

 +
Speak to the men in black outside the underground casino and repay the outstanding gold balance. Full repayment removes the casino's collar or restraints, removes the Sex-Slave Chain and clears the casino slave state.
 +

 +
This is separate from Island Colosseum debt. Paying one institution does not settle the other's balance.

Common points of confusion
 +

 +
; The Sister equipped underwear, so is that required for full status?
 +
: No. Full status checks the Depravity Collar and Sex-Slave Chain. Lewd Underwear is part of the scene and outfit, not the state test.
 +

 +
; I am collared, but a Full event does not trigger.
 +
: Check the off-hand slot for the Sex-Slave Chain. A Noble Collar or another collar also does not substitute for the Depravity Collar.
 +

 +
; I repaid the Colosseum, but the collar is still on.
 +
: Return after time advances, then handle the release papers carefully. Do not sign the first document without reading it.
 +

 +
; The Collar Key does nothing.
 +
: The key only supports the intact standard slave collar and its linked chain. A destroyed keyhole, Torment Collar or another event-controlled lock needs its own route.
 +

 +
; Can a Demon Stripper remove slave mode?
 +
: Do not rely on it. Demon Strippers handle ordinary Level 1 cursed equipment, not the event-controlled Depravity Collar. Use a slave-release route.
 +

 +
; Does the Writhing Cave automatically remove slave equipment?
 +
: No current removal event was confirmed there. Older notes that presented the cave as a universal cure should not be relied upon.

Slave mode is a persistent character state built around the slave collar. It changes equipment, titles, services, dialogue and event availability. It is not a difficulty setting, and it is not the same as every route in which a character is captured or restrained.

The game distinguishes between wearing a collar and having full slave status. That difference explains why some events work with the collar alone while others require the complete RAYON slave outfit.

Quick answer

If you only want to escape slave mode, use one of these routes:

 • Buy a Collar Key from the Sister in RAYON Village Church for 20,000 G.
 • Give Salted Kelp to the samurai in the Back Alley and ask him to cut off the collar. This is dangerous.
 • Accept Doctor Daijobu's offer in the Life Sciences Research Institute. This removes the collar but subjects the character to 15–20 random modifications.
 • If the collar came from debt, repay that debt through the same institution. The Island Colosseum route has an additional paperwork trap, so read before signing.

These methods do not override a destroyed keyhole or a route that explicitly makes the collar permanent. See Permanent and special collars.

Slave states

State How the game recognizes it What it usually affects
Collared / slave state The character has been marked as enslaved by an event and normally wears a Depravity Collar or another route-specific collar. General slave dialogue, service restrictions, titles and events marked Slave mode: Yes.
Full slave status The standard equipment check requires a Depravity Collar with either an intact or destroyed keyhole in the head slot and a Sex-Slave Chain in the off-hand slot. A few capture or ending routes set the same state directly. Events marked Slave mode: Full, plus the effects of the ordinary slave state.
Lifelong slave state A specific event seals or destroys the lock and sets the permanent-slavery route state. Prevents the ordinary removal routes. It is a route consequence, not merely a stronger version of the chain outfit.

Lewd Underwear is equipped during the RAYON church scene, but it is not part of the game's full-status check. Likewise, a Noble Collar may mark a character as enslaved, but it does not substitute for the Depravity Collar in the full-status check.

The ordinary route recalculates full slave status from the equipped collar and chain. A title such as Sex Slave is therefore useful flavor, but it is not the most reliable way to identify the active state.

Entering slave mode

Character creation

Choose Flesh Toilet during the opening character setup to begin in slave mode. This is the fastest deliberate route for a new character.

Island Colosseum debt

At the Island Colosseum, fighters must cover the wager for a lost match. If the character loses without enough gold, the shortfall becomes arena debt and she is collared.

 • The character is confined beneath the arena while the debt remains.
 • The debt gains 10% interest each day.
 • A character with the appropriate personality values may receive the decorative Noble Collar instead of the ordinary Depravity Collar.
 • The arena continues to offer matches so the character can work toward repayment.

This route has its own release procedure; repaying the displayed balance is only the first step.

Capital Abaroso casino debt

The underground casino in Capital Abaroso lends up to 10,000 casino coins. Repayment includes a 10% fee. If the character admits that she cannot repay, the casino takes her remaining coins, applies slave equipment and bars her from the casino until the remaining debt is cleared.

Repayment is handled by the men in black outside the casino. The debt is displayed in gold rather than casino coins after enslavement.

The mansion vase

In the Capital Abaroso mansion, an expensive vase can be deliberately knocked over. Accepting the household's punishment applies a Depravity Collar and slave status. Refusing the collar leads to a violent alternative rather than avoiding the consequences safely.

Human Farm capture

The capture route in the Schwarz Maiden Human Farm applies slave equipment and full slave status before sending the character to the relevant holding route. This is tied to the Human Farm event chain rather than being a convenient way to enter and leave ordinary slave mode.

Debug mode

Debug mode can change the current character into a citizen slave and configure related debt, collar and chain states. It is useful for testing, but it can bypass the event setup that normally explains how the state works.

Reaching full slave status

Once the character has a Depravity Collar, speak to the Sister in RAYON Village Church.

 1. She notices the collar and offers to complete the outfit.
 2. Accepting equips the Sex-Slave Chain and Lewd Underwear.
 3. The collar plus chain activates full slave status.

The chain is worn in the off-hand slot. This matters mechanically: replacing or losing the required equipment can change which slave events recognize the character.

After receiving the chain, talk to the Sister again. When she asks how the character feels, choose the silent response. This opens the conversation that makes the Collar Key available for 20,000 G.

What slave mode changes

Slave mode is checked throughout the project. Its consequences are intentionally inconsistent from place to place: some people refuse service, some exploit the character, and a few locations provide alternative facilities.

Area or system Effect
RAYON Village Inn The normal room is refused. The doghouse outside can be used for free and advances time, but it is not equivalent to ordinary lodging and has slave-specific events.
RAYON Village shops and tavern Several merchants refuse to trade, and ordinary tavern work may be unavailable. Other NPCs gain slave-specific dialogue or events.
RAYON Village Church The Sister can complete the full slave outfit and later sell the Collar Key. The church also contains several slave-only event branches.
Island Colosseum An already enslaved character cannot use the normal introductory route. Arena debt has its own confinement, repayment and release logic.
Capital Abaroso The underground casino has a separate loan-and-slavery route. Slave status also changes several city interactions and prevents an enslaved character from buying the Abaroso house. An already occupied house is not automatically confiscated.
Slave City Shrike Shrike provides work, lodging and events intended for enslaved characters. A character who has escaped from Shrike may be unable to enter openly because the guards can identify her.
Life Sciences Research Institute Many rooms contain harsher or additional outcomes for enslaved characters. Doctor Daijobu also offers one of the collar-removal routes.
Titles and dialogue The current actor's title may change to a character-specific slave title. NPC reactions and event choices can also change.
H events Many events accept any slave state; others require full slave status. The event list records the requirement for each route.

See H Events and Endings for individual event requirements. That page uses Yes for the general slave state and Full for the collar-and-chain check.

Removing slave status

Collar Key

The safest standard method is the Collar Key (item 0225).

 1. Complete the RAYON church scene that adds the Sex-Slave Chain.
 2. Speak to the Sister again and choose the silent response.
 3. Buy the key for 20,000 G.
 4. Use the key while the supported collar is still intact.

The key removes the intact Depravity Collar and its linked Sex-Slave Chain, then breaks. It cannot remove a Depravity Collar whose keyhole has been destroyed, and it cannot open the keyless Torment Collar used by Escapee Mode.

Back Alley samurai

The samurai in the Back Alley can cut off an ordinary slave collar.

 • Bring Salted Kelp (item 0178), which his dialogue calls salted kombu.
 • Choose the request to cut off the collar.
 • He removes the collar and linked chain, but the cut has a random outcome.

The safe result simply frees the character. A bad result causes severe injury; the worst result leaves the character collapsed and in need of rescue by another character. This route does not work after the collar has been made lifelong.

Doctor Daijobu

Doctor Daijobu in the Life Sciences Research Institute offers to pay off the character's slave debt in exchange for body modifications.

Accepting starts a sequence of 15–20 random modifications. If the character survives the sequence, the collar and chain are removed, the debt is cleared and the actor receives a character-specific former-slave title. The modifications and their side effects remain.

This is a high-risk escape route. Save before accepting it.

Island Colosseum repayment

 1. Earn enough gold and choose Repay Debt at the Colosseum desk.
 2. Pay the full displayed balance.
 3. Return after the staff have had time to locate the correct key.
 4. When release papers are presented, read them carefully instead of signing immediately.

Signing the first papers without checking them seals the collar's keyhole and makes the character a lifelong slave. Reading the papers exposes the false agreement and allows the genuine release process to continue.

Capital Abaroso casino repayment

Speak to the men in black outside the underground casino and repay the outstanding gold balance. Full repayment removes the casino's collar or restraints, removes the Sex-Slave Chain and clears the casino slave state.

This is separate from Island Colosseum debt. Paying one institution does not settle the other's balance.

Permanent and special collars

Not every collar uses the same release rules.

Collar or state Normal key? Notes
Depravity Collar, intact keyhole Yes The standard slave collar. The Collar Key, samurai, debt route or Doctor Daijobu may remove it when their conditions are met.
Depravity Collar, destroyed keyhole No Produced by the lifelong Colosseum contract and some later event states. The ordinary Collar Key explicitly fails.
Noble Collar Not required A Level 1 collar used by some event and equipment routes. It does not count as the Depravity Collar for full slave status and can normally be handled through Level 1 curse removal.
Torment Collar No Escapee Mode equipment with no keyhole. Its route controls removal; the Collar Key cannot open it.
Slave Lady's Chastity Belt Separate system This belongs to the Slave Lady equipment and ring event chain. It is not the collar-and-chain slave-mode check.

For the equipment-lock rules behind these items, see Curse Level.

Common points of confusion

The Sister equipped underwear, so is that required for full status?
No. Full status checks the Depravity Collar and Sex-Slave Chain. Lewd Underwear is part of the scene and outfit, not the state test.
I am collared, but a Full event does not trigger.
Check the off-hand slot for the Sex-Slave Chain. A Noble Collar or another collar also does not substitute for the Depravity Collar.
I repaid the Colosseum, but the collar is still on.
Return after time advances, then handle the release papers carefully. Do not sign the first document without reading it.
The Collar Key does nothing.
The key only supports the intact standard slave collar and its linked chain. A destroyed keyhole, Torment Collar or another event-controlled lock needs its own route.
Can a Demon Stripper remove slave mode?
Do not rely on it. Demon Strippers handle ordinary Level 1 cursed equipment, not the event-controlled Depravity Collar. Use a slave-release route.
Does the Writhing Cave automatically remove slave equipment?
No current removal event was confirmed there. Older notes that presented the cave as a universal cure should not be relied upon.
