About
RyonaRPG is a long-running community-built adult action RPG made with RPG Maker 2000 and related to the earlier RyonaSaga project. Rather than following one fixed campaign, it gives the player a large connected world full of towns, dungeons, equipment, playable heroines, transformations, status systems and optional events.
Its cast draws from many games and fan communities alongside original and heavily altered characters. That crossover structure is part of the appeal: characters retain distinctive mechanics, while the game combines them inside an unusually elaborate RPG Maker combat and simulation framework.
RyonaRPG can be rough, obscure and deliberately unforgiving, but few RPG Maker projects match its sheer density. Seemingly minor equipment, status and character choices can interact with entire event chains. Much of the fun comes from exploring, experimenting and discovering systems the game does not immediately explain.
The game contains explicit sexual content, sexual violence, transformation, pregnancy, monsters and other extreme material. It is intended only for adults.
English edition
The current English edition is a complete native localization of the game text and player-facing graphical interface. It no longer depends on the old runtime translation, machine-translated PO files or an external translation patch.
The English project is under active maintenance. Translation corrections, documentation improvements and reproducible game bugs can be reported through the GitGud repository. The repository contains the complete playable game rather than only a patch.
Download and launch
- Open the English edition repository.
- Use GitGud's download option to download the repository as a ZIP.
- Extract the ZIP completely. Do not run the game from inside the archive.
- Open the game folder and run
PLAY NATIVE ENGLISH.bat.
The supplied launcher uses EasyRPG Player, which is the recommended runtime. A separate Japanese copy, RPG Maker RTP installation, translation program or Japanese system locale is not normally required. See Technical Help if the game does not start or behaves strangely.
