Eternal Rome is split into 6 quarters, each under the jurisdiction of a different faction, usually consisting of a residential area and an assortment of shops.
Most quarters (with the exception of the Border of Fog and White Town) have 2 stores selling various goods.
The residential districts of each quarter are home to characters willing to pay sparks for trained slaves of varying quality & skill.
White Town
White town is home to the trade square, the largest assortment of stores in Eternal Rome.
- Slave Market - The most common and safe place to acquire slaves. The auctions start off rather cheap, but it's recommended to bring the slave for a medical checkup immediately.
- Salon "Elven Laid" - Hairstyling, waxing, makeup & manicures are must have treatments here, boosting Style just before a slave is sold off. The same services are also available for slavers, mainly to increase Allure, restore energy and even libido.
- Gastronomicon - The only place to buy comestibles, and butcher slaves for meat.
- Boutique of Servilla Quint - Menswear and ladieswear can be purchased here, raising base Allure/Style as well other skills bonuses.
- Ashura's Treasury - Women's jewellery and accessories can be acquired here.
- Manhunters Armory - Manhunter sells weapons and armor here for both slave & master.
- Real Estate office - The player can pick up a contract with the real estate office to change their living quarters here.

* The term used is "secular lioness". Since the secular arm of a church is often military in nature, I'm guessing "gladiatrix". But it's just a guess at this point. ** "Solid nature". Could refer to the "nature" stat, but Endurance seems more likely. *** "Solid nature" once again.
Border of the Fogs
The outskirts of the city are shrouded in a neverending fog, connecting Eternal Rome to other worlds dimensionally and/or possibly even temporally. It appears the fog serves as the only way for goods to come and go, transported by "clippers".
- Smugglers Rendezvous - Run by Balalaika, an ex-paratrooper from another world, this group of smugglers specialises in importing custom cloned slaves from an advanced planet for $2000.
- Moneylender's home - As the name implies, one can approach the loanshark Moneylender for for sparks, with interest to be paid, of course.
- Base Camp - Taurus house's appointed Sergeant oversees the hastily built base camp, only offering the player $500 sparks in exchange for an obedient Alchemist slave.
- Slums - Aside from the players starting house, none of the slum houses are accessible.
Patrol Border of Fogs
Only intelligent beings may travel the fog; Apparently this includes the assorted creatures make appearances near the border to accost any woman unfortunate enough to catch their attention.
Choosing to patrol the border, the player may encounter any of these accosting a slave:
- A Werewolf
- A Fog Fiend (Occasionally it may be a Hardened Fog Fiend, boasting higher strength & health.)
- A Lich Necromancer
- A Black Medic & 3 Minions
- 2 Beggars, a suprisingly strong cripple and 2 skinny old men
- A Paladin of Taurus House & 2 infantry
- A Vampire
Upon defeating the enemy, the player gains the slave they just rescued. In the event the player already has one, she will be immediately sold off at the auction, the profit collectable at the White Town Trade Square auction the next day.
It is recommended to get your new slave checked at the Medical complex immediately.
Player Housing
Moving to a new quarter requires a 10 days rent in advance, with a one time agency commission fee.
To gain housing permission for a quarter, you must sell a slave to an NPC within the desired faction to raise your reputation with them.

*The Fiend Pen is empty until you have captured a fiend that has burst out of a slave. This kills the slave. **The Border of the Fogs slum has no access to a bathroom, kitchen or extensions, making hygiene & training difficult as well as lowering morale. It's recommended to move ASAP.
