Artificial Academy 2 (AA2, ジンコウガクエン2, Jinkou Gakuen 2, JG2) (official site (archived 2018)) is an 3D eroge social observation & intervention simulator in school settings, sequel of Artificial Academy and developed and released by Illusion on June 13, 2014.

The game simulates realtime decision making of agents. The player creates a class of up to 24 student and 1 teacher anime style characters, each with their own gender, orientation, social complexities and personal inclinations. After that, the player controls a character in third person view, makes friends, enemies, rivals and lovers and competes for achievement in academics, athletics, popularity and romance.

Compared to the prequel, AA2 has significant graphical and gameplay improvements including addition of playable teacher role, lewd promise, weekend dating, three-way, power play, blackmail, condom usage and pregnancy risk. Character customization content is enriched, including the Traits feature.

A distinct feature of the game is that fully voiced non player characters (NPCs) socialize automatically, which creates dynamic NPC-NPC relationships. This is also found in,

The game is open-ended and without set limit, but certain avoidable decisions can lead to endings.

This is the last game that uses Illusion's proprietary 3D engine, YAYOI (the company switched to Unity in the next game, Harem Mate).
