A Card (.PNG file) is a character template containing physical and behavial settings. Cards data are saved into .PNG custom data layer, most of them are parameters and reference, which does not include any voice audio, 3D model, or texture data such as custom hair mod, or personality (audio files). The exception is module.

Editing a card does not change any character in-game, and vice versa. In-game character data and card data are separate. Cards do not contain any mood and opinion (link contains SPOILER) etc yet. See also Save file editor.

The card editor is also known as Maker, きゃらめいく, Charameiku.

Essentials

Open AA2Edit.exe . Click Launch the editor to see

1. 3D view : See Mouse and Keyboard shortcuts.

Either

  • create new card, click Make Female/Male Character -> New Character, or
  • edit existing card, click Make Female/Male Character -> Open

To save a card,

  1. Optionally wear clothes: Enter 1 in State -> click Apply
  2. Either,
  • save with the automatically created pictures: Fill in File Name -> click Save, or
  • save with custom pictures (snowflaking)

To change clothes, or check any card's clothes settings, see Extended settings window - General tab

Thumbnail pictures inside a card

Each card contains 2 pictures,

  • Cover picture, the thumbnail shown in OS file explorers (Explorer / Files / Nemo / Finder) and card sharing site, and
  • Rooster picture (seating plan picture), seen in free roam.

Last Name and First Name : To avoid bugs, leave least one whitespace, rather than completely empty.

Intelligence : Affects non-physical related performance.

Strength : Related to physical related performance, movement speed and fight skill.

Fighting Style : Affects fight outcome, in the manner of rock-paper-scissors game.

Virtue : Sexual moral standard.

Orientation

  • IMPORTANT Determines possibility, success rate and outcome of sexual advancements (or get friendzoned forever).
  • Incompatible NPC sometimes friendzone PC when asked.
  • There is a hint for players to spot out Orientation without interactions.
Orientation details some may consider SPOILER
  • Sexual advance towards opposite sex NPC is
    • almost impossible if NPC is Homo,
    • very challenging if NPC is Lean homo.
  • Sexual advance towards same sex NPC is
    • almost impossible if NPC is Hetero,
    • very challenging if NPC is Lean hetero.

然 Playful She often tells you she's like a cat in heat. Note that virtue still determines the way she plays.

激 Irritated (Irritable) Tsundere who rants and complains endlessly about now-days. She acts very girly in front of the one she loves.

尖 Harsh (Uptight) Apathetic, negative, and abusive later on. She shows off her indifferent manner openly. But once she gets intimated, she starts talking with insulting manner which is to conceal her actual sentiment. Reading her mood is easier from her tone rather than from her dialogue.

楚 Sweet (Friendly) Pleasant, easy-going, and a master of politeness judo, able to get what she wants harmoniously, making others happy, even grateful, to give it to her. However, she can turn cold if losing control of a situation, and delivers her polite demands firmly and sharply.

肝 Creepy A fujoshi, or a yaoi fangirl in English terms, who is enthusiastic about 'boy's love' fiction and homoerotica. She tends to seclude herself from "normalfags" with self-mocking manner, laughs maniacally when excited; "ku-huhu", "KE-hehe!". She adapts "real-life" relationship awkwardly later on.

慎 Reserved Extremely passive character. She stutters, pauses on words frequently, holds back an action even if she prompted it first.

A lack of self-esteem makes her hold back and isolate herself, leading to her being afraid of intimacy. Even becoming closer to her rewards you with general awkwardness in such situations, even though it is visible that she does yearns to belong and wishes to share her feelings. Her overall reservedness rewards the patient with adorkable yet sincere and loving relationship.

Change to another clothes

  1. Open AA2Play.exe Free roam, load any save
  2. At Home (Night), Little black book.jpg and edit any target sex character AA2 Uniform Button.jpg
  3. Adjust clothing as required
  4. AA2 outfit save.png as .CLOTH file.
  5. Back to card editor, load the .CLOTH file.
