AI Syoujyo: Housing
Contents
Bases
In AI Syoujo you can build a home for your girls and yourself.
There is a total of 4 locations where you can build a base. In order to build on them, you have to interact with a small wooden sign on the edge of the build area and take the Housing option. You also can fast-travel to any base after you interacted with the sign by selecting the red flag on the map screen.
Each base has a set size (in brackets) represented in a X-coordinate X Y-coordinate X Z-coordinate format.
- Beach(100X80X100)
- The first base in the game. As part of the tutorial you are shown how housing works by building a fireplace to cook with. The area is located right on the beach you stranded on and has a nice view on the ocean. North from the beach is Shan's house.
- Forest(100X80X100)
- This base can be found in the second area. Its located deep in the forest with a waterfall to the west and a clearing filled with flowers to the east, leading to an abonded factory. Close by is also the first deactivated Terminal with which you can awaken your second girl (Battery included).
- Ruins(200X100X200)
- The largest base on the ruined island, found in the third area. Its located on the nothern most part of the city ruins, and like the beach base, has a beautiful view on the ocean. This base has the best size for a single large house for all your girls.
- Housing Island(500X220X500)
- By far the largest base in the game. Its located on the Housing Island which you can travel to after you repaired the boat in the dockyard. The island is flat and barren. The developers intend for you to build your own island paradise here.
Building
Building a base functions simillar to the Chara Studio. First you add a created object to the base and then you use the arrows to drag it were you want it. As you add objects, you can keep track of everything by looking at the workplace window. You can also make nameable files to better organize your build.
Creating Objects
In order to build anything, you first have to create it. An object can be created when you have the needed materials in your inventory or chest and then click the Create option beneath the list of materials. You only have to create an object once. Created objects can be added as many times as you want with no additinoal cost.
Categories
There are 5 different categories for housing objects
- Base
- This includes floor tiles, walls, roofes and other fundemental parts of a house.
- Furniture
- Its objects are mostly decorative (like chairs, tables, and counters), but also includes furniture needed to live a comfortable life (like cooking utensils, beds and dining tables)
- Miscellaneous
- Objects in this category aren't necessary to survive on the island. Instead they have gameplay relevant funtions (like chests to store items, a table to craft medicine, or objects that effect a girls stats)
- Gardening
- Plants, trees, rubble and other more natural objects are in this category.
- H-Items
- All objects in this category allow you to perform exclusive H-positions you otherwise couldn't assume.
In addition, most ojects are given 1-3 Type(s) that give you an idea what effect they have.
- Access: This object allows a girl to perform an idle animation like leaning against the object or sitting on it. These animations don't have an effect on their stats.
- Action: This object allows a girl to perform an unique animation like cooking, relaxing in a bean bag or pumping water from a well. These animations do have an effect on a girl's stats or otherwise impact gameplay.
- H-Point: This object allows you to perform H-positions on it. When you change location during H, you will see a gem heart float near the object.
An object can still be interacted with even if it isn't an Action type. A good example area light sources.
