Eisen, the Mine City, is a city built high atop and into the side of a mountain. It is run by the Blacksmith Guild, who control the entire town with an iron fist, employing their own militia to enforce order in what is effectively their company town. Not only does the town have many skilled blacksmiths who are able to make conventional weapons and armors, but the guild also has a magical research division, with witches and alchemists who are able to imbue the already high–quality equipment with magic to make them even more effective. Without a doubt, Eisen is a must–visit stop for buying some advanced equipment and crafting legendary gear.
Directions
Eisen lies northwest of the Mountain Brothel and Surglane Village. The directions start off the same as to go to the brothel.
Exit Hot Springs Town from the North Gate, and head directly north until you reach the Road to the Frontier. Head one screen north so that you are in Plateau of Zephyr 1. Head to the northeast corner of the screen, and exit Plateau of Zephyr 1 to the north, which will take you to Plateau of Zephyr 2. (If you exit Plateau of Zephyr 1 to the east, you will end up at Plateau of Zephyr 4, which is incorrect, and will lead you to Surglane Village.) Then head directly north until you reach Plateau of Zephyr 6. On this screen, exit centrally north, and you will arrive at Eisen Mountain. If you exit too much to the northeast, you will end up at the Mountain Brothel.

When you first enter Eisen, you start at the Eisen Mine entrance. You can freely walk around the entrance area and the lowest part of the residential area, but to get to Eisen proper, you need to go through the Checkpoint. However, no matter what you try to do, the guards won't let you pass. If only there was some way to come up with a "legitimate" reason why you should be allowed to pass....
