If you are asking for help then make sure to send "BepInEx\LogOutput.log" and "BepInEx\ErrorLog.log" together with a description of the issue. If you see any preloader log files in the game directory, send those too. You don't need to send "output_log.txt" since it is not that helpful.

*'''Q: How do I import HoneyComb(HC) cards into SVS?'''
A: From the HC directory, go to HoneyCombInstallDir\UserData\chara\female and find the character you want to import. Copy the character card and go to SamabakeScrambleInstallDir\UserData\convert\chara\female and paste the character card here. For males, do the same but instead use the male folder. Once done, launch SVS. The game will convert the cards on load. From there, go to the Character Creator and load the converted card. You will need to make any needed updates to personality and traits, then take a couple of photos before you can use the character in the main game.

*'''Q: How to install mods?'''
A: You first need to install and configure BepInEx v6 (latest nightly build). Alternatively install the latest version of SVS HF Patch.

*'''Q: Issues downloading or installing the patch?'''
A: Check the [https://github.com/ManlyMarco/SVS-HF_Patch#readme patch readme]. If the magnet link doesn't work, use the latest version of [https://www.qbittorrent.org qBittorrent].

*'''Q: The game is crashing at startup or randomly with a GC pop-up or hard-close?'''
A: Download the latest version of SVS HF Patch, restart your PC, and install the patch. If you have a patch older than v1.2.1 then ByteFiddler.cfg may not get updated properly which will cause crashes - you can avoid this by removing `BepInEx\config\ByteFiddler.cfg` before installing the patch (this is not necessary since v1.2.1).
+
*'''Q: The game crashes to a white screen?'''
A: May be caused by installing the Hardmod pack if you've installed other hardmods before. Reinstall the latest version of patch and uncheck Hardmod pack in the mod list (you might need to reinstall the game to fully fix this).
+
*'''Q: Some categories in maker are empty?'''
A: May be caused by installing the Hardmod pack if you've previously installed TekitoMOD. In that case install TekitoMODv1.0.3 or later after installing the patch. Otherwise install the latest version of the patch. If you already did that, reinstall the latest version of patch and uncheck Hardmod pack in the mod list (you might need to reinstall the game to fully fix this).

*'''Q: Can't install the patch, get a file verification error?'''
A: Redownload parts of the patch mentioned in the error and try again.
+
*'''Q: Can't start the game or get errors while using the patch?'''
A: Restart your PC, close all applications, and try installing the patch again. You may have to whitelist the game folder and the patch itself in your antivirus program if you use something other than Windows Defender (and sometimes even then).
+
*'''Q: Nothing helped?'''
A: When in doubt, restart your PC, whitelist in AVs, then reinstall the game and the latest version of the patch. If you still get issues despite that, ask for help on the discord server.

*'''Q: Have a "Fatal error in GC - Collecting from unknown thread" or similar pop-up? The game randomly hard-closes soon after starting it or when trying to open plugin windows?'''
A: Randomly caused by GC being triggered from background threads spawned by plugins, usually during game startup. To fix it get the ByteFiddler plugin + ByteFiddler.cfg for your game version. Restarting the game should work to avoid the issue. Most commonly encountered when using the BepInEx.SplashScreen mod (especially the unmodified version).
