Language in articles

I thought about creating a short section about language, since I think it's better to use descent language and try to paraphrase explicit words as good as you can (e.g. "having a date with her" instead of "fucking her"). I would like put up a table containing often used words and according paraphrase for quick look-up or if s.o. has no ideas. What do you think? --trololove (talk) 20:17, 23 March 2014 (UTC)

In my opinion, text style should be similar to game style - so it really depends on the people who translated the game. Also, "having a date" is usually not the same as doing her/fucking her (see @HomeMate - Date is a special situation there). Usually "fucking" is described as "having H (with)". "having sex (with)" is also fine. We are not a wiki for platformers or FPS games ^^ but we still should use "neutral" language. IMO, trololove's example sounds like beating around the bush, and that can be confusing. I agree that a wiki shouldn't have unnecessary crude or vulgar language, but explicit language is definitely welcome. - Loliturma (talk) 22:25, 30 March 2014 (UTC)

Aggree, actualy I meant crude or vulgar language (lack of words). Propably the example I gave wasn't good neither, but I think we have all the same opinion ^^. Gonna put it on the page. --trololove (talk) 09:54, 31 March 2014 (UTC)
