Patch Notes

• Patch adding new content released on May 25.
  • Movement with WASD keys added in response to feedback about mouse-only movement.
  • Lesbian H-scenes added. Female characters with the "likes women" trait can now be seen having lesbian H-scenes around school. However, since it's not a threesome, the protagonist cannot participate—only observe. If the female characters are not in a lewd state, they may notice the protagonist's gaze and flee if approached carelessly (e.g., using Shift or Z key).
    • Adding the "lewd bitch" and "likes women" traits to all female students turns the school into a nymphomaniac asylum. They engage in acts in open areas like the school entrance or hallway, not just secluded spots like the infirmary or restroom. After school, they can be seen doing this endlessly.   • Non-con H-scenes with teachers added.

• Details regarding the large free update scheduled for June 29 (released June 1):
  • Saturdays are no longer combined with holidays and revert to regular school days where students wear casual clothes. The schedule changes from "Fri → Holiday → Mon" back to "Fri → Sat → Sun → Mon."
  • A special H-location added to the infirmary. If the protagonist sleeps on the infirmary bed and has had H-experience with an NPC (H-degree ≥50%) or if Rina-sensei is in the infirmary before sleeping (2+ H-scenes), she may visit randomly to provide services. --This means taking longer to lie down for quick saves!--
  • New sex positions added:
    • "Hurdle Onani" added to the gym storage.
    • "Vault Back" special H-point added to the gym storage map.
    • "Missionary" special H-point added to the men's staff restroom.
  • Other additions: New hairstyles, clothes, and accessory parts.

• Update on July 28:
  • New personality trait "Easygoing" added.
  • Sleeping on the rooftop bench may attract an NPC (with H-experience and H-degree ≥50%) randomly to provide services. Similar to the infirmary, but the math teacher appears instead of the nurse.
  • Other additions: New sex positions and studio-related updates.

• Updates in August, October, and November–December:
  • Swimsuits, Halloween, and Santa outfits added.

• Details regarding the After School update released on December 21, 2018:
  • New locations added: Amusement park, subway, park, etc. (available only after the first date).
  • New H-scenes including threesomes [* Possible during lesbian H-scenes via interruptions].
  • New intimacy system related to the protagonist (marriage system).
  • Save data expansion (up to 100 slots).
  • Maximum character count increased (from 38 to 99! However, without the KoikatuGameplayMod 1.2 update, the in-school character limit remains 38).
  • Limited-time outfits added.
  • New personality traits: "S-type nerves," "Returned girl," "Dialect girl," "Cold girl."
  • NPCs near H-scenes react with shy motions and flee.

• Details regarding the Darkness update released on May 24, 2019:
  • New "Darkness Points" added to the third floor.
  • New H-scenes including threesome motions [* Available at Darkness Points].

• No mention of post-scenario features such as recurring main characters, new 3D motions, or new clubs/classes.

• The official site announced new update directions [* Limited to dates]. If implemented well, this could cover many previously criticized aspects. Users often rely on mods like kPlug's free H-maps, Koikatsu Free H Map, COM3D2 H-Maps, More H-Maps, and Project Diva H-Maps Collection for additional content.

• The next title, Koikatsu Emotion Creators, included Koikatsu Darkness as a pre-order bonus for reservations made between March 1–18, 2019. Only 6 out of many personalities [* Traditional heroine, innocent, cool straightforward, ojousama, hesitant, easygoing] received dedicated events and H-voices, along with 3 outfits [* Tortoise-shell bondage, sexy sweater, qipao], H-scenes, studio items, and motions.

• On June 10, 2019, Koikatsu Party was released on Steam, but as of July 25, 2020, it is region-locked and unavailable in South Korea [* Steam version only compatible with the foreign "Berry Pack"]. Due to Illusion's termination of activities on August 18, 2023, it is currently unobtainable on Steam as of 2025. The price was ₩68,390. The Steam version initially lacks a story mode, requiring installation of a [patch for the overseas version] [* Only compatible with the North American Steam version; the April 9, 2021 patch is not recommended due to severe conflicts].

• On May 14, 2021, the DLC for Steam Koikatsu Party titled "After Party" was released on Steam, but South Korea remains region-locked and unavailable. The price of the DLC is ₩62,000, nearly as expensive as the base game. Despite the name, the DLC is functionally identical to After School.

• On May 28, 2021, information about the sequel Koikatsu Sunshine was announced and pre-orders began. [Illusion Twitter link]
