Elemental Damage and Defense
Each of these skills adds or negates a bonus yaku to Torifuda at the start of the round.
- Fire/Wind/Wood/Water Attacks have a 7% chance per Skill Lv to trigger.
- Sun/Moon Attacks and all Defense skills have a 10% chance per Skill Lv to trigger.
- Multiple sources of the same elemental attacks can't duplicate the cards, but they can counter defenses.

Each of these improves a base stat by +1/Skill Lvl

[Note: I'm not completely certain which Skills correspond to which Attributes. The Japanese wiki didn't have the information, and it's difficult to confirm through game play or reading the source code. ]
Defense
Both of these improve base Defense
- Defense
- Circle of Power
Hand and Field
These skills have a 10%/Skill Lvl chance to add cards to Hand or Field.
Increases Hand:
- Speed
- Quickdraw
- Phantom
Increases Field:
- Skydance
- Whirlwind
- Mirror of Clarity
- Still Waters
