When you import a save sometimes there are custom characters already present. While you can change their looks and clothes in the dressing room, changing names and personalities would take more work.

To change names and/or personalities of imported characters directly in a save:

# Open <game folder>/UserData/save/mainData.dat using a hex editor.
# Find the string of numbers (numbers in ascii, 30 to 39 in hex) separated by underscores (5F) between "ill_Ashimi.png" (<tt>69 6C 6C 5F 41 73 68 69 6D 69 2E 70 6E 67</tt>) and "ill_Default_Female.png" (<tt>69 6C 6C 5F 44 65 66 61 75 6C 74 5F 46 65 6D 61 6C 65 2E 70 6E 67</tt>). The example screenshot has it highlighted. Those are the filename(s) (without the extension) for the custom girl(s) used in the game.
# Use the in-game character maker to create a custom girl, setting names and personalities and all that. Save it as a new file.
