* Obtain information to grant access to new locations
Places you want to go are ones with good experience, moderate risk. Try to unlock Capital Avalon as soon as possible (If you rush avoiding all fight, it can be done at level 20 or so...

Learn what kind of status you'll have to be worried about, and buy items, or better, accessories, to be safe. Status are NASTY
* Earn money to buy better equipment
Defense is the most important stat of your character. Keep it at best. Equipement with elemental resistance are good to.
* Increase combat level (Stats alone wont save your from every monster.)
Basically, play more. Go in dungeon, learn to use charged spells and attacks (Those are way, way better than normal attacks), learn how AI works.

If you have no ideas where to level, you could try the octopus/siren mosnter in the water dungeon, the mommies (with an anti poison accessory) deeper if you canr each them.

Mages can go up to level 7~10 very easily by fighting the 3 red slimes in the moutain dungeon (kill them all in one shot)

The three naga deeper in the dungeon cant hurt you if you use anti capture equipement (plus, the stats of the item are decent for an accessory item)

*Starting out :

Go to the inn and get the journal and 400 (2000 if your on easy difficulty and 100 if you're on Newtype) coins in you room, you may go to the newbie dungeon to train first... Don't know where it is? Read the [[RyonaRPG/Locations_walkthrough|location walkthrough]] page. Just to remind you, don't go to backstreets. That area is too dangerous for a new player and you will get a [[RyonaRPG/H_Events_and_Endings|bad ending]] if you die there.

If you are a [[RyonaRPG/Characters#Table|mage or battlemage]], fire [[RyonaRPG/Magic|magic]] can deal with those creeps in newbie dungeon easily. Stay away from them and learn how to cast magic and hit them accurately. You may want to try the charged attack too. Later on you face some fast moving monsters, the charged attack with area damage will be useful.

For warriors let's hope your weapon and armor are intact from 無想の森, and haven't been damaged. If not, or your starting outfit is too weak, you can try to play [[RyonaRPG/FAQ#How_to_play_hit_and_blow_.3F|hit and blow]] to earn more money first. Without good armor even the weak monsters in newbie dungeon can kill you easily. Get a few thousand coins then go to the weapon store. Some cheap items such as the $500 axe and the $100 shield are very useful. Some weapons, like that axe, are two handed weapons so you cannot equip left hand items, such as a shield. You can view the [[RyonaRPG/Equipment|equipment]] page for details. If you have spare money you can buy the anti capture and anti poison items from the lady there. These are useful since when you go outside and fight you will face many different [[RyonaRPG/Status|negative status]] and traps.

Now that you have advanced some levels and have more cash on hand, go explore the world. Obtain information from npcs to make them accessible from the map. Read the [[RyonaRPG/Locations_walkthrough|location walkthrough]] page to get them one by one. The locations Devil's store and Capital Avalon are harder so you can skip these for now.

== Switching Characters==
Enter the RAY-ON village inn and go to the second door on the right. The first option will allow you to switch characters.

Note: Unconcious girls will remain unplayable until they're rescued.

== Rescue==
The game doesn't always end when your health drops to 0. If you choose the first option, you'll be left unconcious on or near the same map, and you'll switch to another character. To rescue a girl, simply walk into them to pick them up. Next, return to the RAY-ON village inn and talk to the clerk. Now when you switch characters, the girl will now be selectable. The character you choose for the rescue will inherit all items and cash, however they will remain at the level you last left them. If the character in need of rescuing has been enslaved and what-not, their equipped items will still be on them.

The slave mode is a special status the player's character may be in. Quite a number of town events are different when the player's character is a slave.

== Becoming a slave ==
To become a partial slave, your character needs to wear the 淫虐の首輪 in her Magic (4th) slot. This can be obtained in a few different ways:
* Creating a character as a 肉奴隷 (4th type of girl).
* Losing a tournament match when your character doesn't have enough money to pay the ante.
* Losing a card match in the pub of 首都アバロソ, and your current gold is -50000 or more.
* Using the cheat mode to get the item. The Item ID is 0808.
* Breaking the blue vase in the noble's house in north Avalon. the guard will only let you in if you have a good rank at coliseum to be able to enter. The owner tells you to come back in a while, so please report any event following this.

To become a full sex slave, have your partial-slave character go talk to the sister in the church of Ray-On Village.

* If your character becomes a slave through method two (losing tournament), the receptionist promises you will be freed if you repay all your debt. However, if you visit her with enough money to repay your debt, she'll first congratulate you, then apologizes for getting the wrong key to unlock your collar, and tell you to come back another day so she can get the right key. She used not let you completely repay your debt, and she'll in fact never find the key, but this has been updated.
* When you come back the next day (sleep at Rayon's inn if event doesn't trigger), she'll offer you some paper to sign. If you agree (first choice), you've just signed that you agree to be a slave for eternity, and the keyhole on your collar will be removed. Alternatively, you can read carefully (choice 3), and your collar will be removed, ending slave mode.

The next time will result in the dog tail and ears (Item ID 0863) being equipped. These items will change her portrait and cannot be removed. When the set is complete, Nakoruru will be unable to equip any armor, and will not be able to remove either items even with the help of such things as tentacles, etc. The only way is to obtain the Item ID 0864 , it can be bought from the dog in RAY-ON, it's the 2000g item or the last item on the list. The set will reduce all stats to 1, except for defence. The set is also buggy and will cause crashes at times. The set will not consider the character to be a slave.

The slave mode is a special status the player's character may be in. Quite a number of town events are different when the player's character is a slave.

== Becoming a slave ==
To become a partial slave, your character needs to wear the 淫虐の首輪 in her Magic (4th) slot. This can be obtained in a few different ways:
* Creating a character as a 肉奴隷 (4th type of girl).
* Losing a tournament match when your character doesn't have enough money to pay the ante.
* Losing a card match in the pub of 首都アバロソ, and your current gold is -50000 or more.
* Using the cheat mode to get the item. The Item ID is 0808.
* Breaking the blue vase in the noble's house in north Avalon. the guard will only let you in if you have a good rank at coliseum to be able to enter. The owner tells you to come back in a while, so please report any event following this.

To become a full sex slave, have your partial-slave character go talk to the sister in the church of Ray-On Village.

;Methode four
* If your character becomes a slave through method two (losing tournament), the receptionist promises you will be freed if you repay all your debt. However, if you visit her with enough money to repay your debt, she'll first congratulate you, then apologizes for getting the wrong key to unlock your collar, and tell you to come back another day so she can get the right key. She used not let you completely repay your debt, and she'll in fact never find the key, but this has been updated.
* When you come back the next day (sleep at Rayon's inn if event doesn't trigger), she'll offer you some paper to sign. If you agree (first choice), you've just signed that you agree to be a slave for eternity, and the keyhole on your collar will be removed. Alternatively, you can read carefully (choice 3), and your collar will be removed, ending slave mode.

* When talking to the yellow-haired woman on the street, she will strip off your armor and taunt you (cannot get information about the Colosseum). Tells you to talk to the sister in the church.

* The innkeeper will not rent you a regular room, but will let you sleep in the dog house for free (doesn't heal much from sleeping)
;Ray-On Village Weapon/Armor store
* The Weapon/Armor merchant will not sell any weapons, and the list of armor he sell will be different (mostly embarrassing armor)
* The Accessory merchant will not sell regular accessories, but instead will sell various infesting bugs.
* The Mithril Trader will refuse to deal with you

* The Bartender would not give you any jobs
* The blue-haired "Hit & Blow" player would not offer to play, but would tie you up and abuse you.
* The bunny girl will have a different dialogue
