FAQ

  • Q: How do I unlock Story mode?
    A: Just play H-Mode twice to unlock the story mode.
  • Q: Anyone knows how to tilt the camera left and right? in some scenes it starts with a 45 degree left or right and the usual controls don't seem to change that?
    A: '/' will reset the camera to a more normal view. Camera controls used in previous Illusion games also work in PPD.
  • Q: How do I save my characters?
    A: In Customize, to the right there are two tabs. First tab is pre-made girls. The second tab is where you can save this "new girl" by clicking a slot, then clicking the right most button. You know you've done it right when an input screen pops up.

Story Mode

Story begin with protagonist walking with main heroine (Sagara Miyako).

There are nine routes in total, which routes you get are determined by the personalities you pick for the first two or three girls (last girl's personality always gets locked in). There are three routes for the "kind" (やさし) main female character, three routes for "calm" (おっとり), and three routes for "perky" (活発).

So for example if you want to with Route 5, you will pick the second personality "おっとり" for the first main character, second personality "謎の仙人風" for the second main character, third personality "ヤンキー" for the third main character, and the fourth main character's personality should automatically be "丁寧隠匿系".

How it works

The main characters have no warranted h-scenes in all stories, but have active roll in each story mode and how it plays out. The main characters have a "mood" option. The "mood" options for each of the main characters are described as "A", "B", and "C". For example "C2c" means that the second character has the second option highlighted.

In the following, the characters are numbered according to their mood, the sub chars and the extra characters (2nd and 3rd rows in the casting screen) are numbered like this:

Plot Synopsis

Route 1: "Size of Eclipse"

In this route Masaya is mortally wounded by Kusanagi, an agent of the terrorist organization "Eclipse" (the ghouls being their biological weapons), and is saved with the help of a strange medicine by the enhanced human Setsura; not wanting to involve them any further she tries to wipe their memories, but finds Masaya is immune and promises to explain everything later before disappearing. Several days later Masaya and Miyako meet Natsume, a reporter investigating a recent series of mysterious attacks, and Setsuna finally appears to explain the medicine she gave Masaya was originally intended to awaken the powers within "Sizes" (which Masaya happens to be); they are quickly introduced to a former Eclipse scientist, who gives Miyako a barrier generator after the pair agree to help investigate the attacks.
Eventually, with the help of Natsume and a mysterious person named Oboro, the group learns that Eclipse is trying to create artificial "Sizes" through a combination of fake medicine and ghoul attacks, and raid the company behind Eclipse to stop the plan. Unfortunately one of Eclipse's leaders, a "Size" himself, proves too powerful for the group to defeat; free of Setsura's will, Oboro is able to reveal she is a manifestation of Masaya's powers that was accidentally dislodged the first time Setsura tried to wipe his memory, and the two combine to defeat the final boss...

Route 8: "I Will Only Combine With You"

In this route Masaya and Miyako are caught up in a fight between the immortality-seeking organization "Howling" (the rapists being unstable results of trying to achieve immortality) and the immortal warrior Setsura, who decides to grant the two powers to defend themselves with before asking them to become her allies. Soon afterward Masaya encounters Natsume and Oboro, a pair of immortals sealed away by Setsura (by their own request) five hundred years ago and the original founders of Howling (which they disbanded, but has since reformed into something they disapprove of), and the group learns that Howling intends to intercept an immortality-granting star that comes by Earth once every five thousand years.
Eventually they raid the headquarters of Howling to stop the plan, but arrive too late and discover the location of the intercept only after further delays; unable to stop the plan in time, they are only able to watch as the light from the star descends... and kills the leader of Howling. As two powerful beings emerge from the light Natsume explains they were members of the original Howling who have returned to exact revenge on the founders for betraying them, and are the reason why she and Oboro decided to break their self-imposed seals. Faced with an impossible battle, all four combine their powers to defeat the final boss...
