Template:HGames Wiki link/doc

Since the HGames Wiki makes extensive use of subpages for organizing the pages relating to each individual game, this template can be used to reduce the amount of typing when creating a wiki link in an article.

Examples

A short example of its use is:

{{HGWl|VH|Hot Springs Town}}

which generates the wiki link

[[VH/Hot Springs Town|Hot Springs Town]]

The above example can be further shortened by creating a template for an individual game. For example, the {{vhl}} template uses the {{HGames Wiki link}} template to make it so that the above example can be written as:

{{VHl|Hot Springs Town}}

Parameters

Parameter	Description	Status
1	Positional parameter: the name of the H game on the HGames Wiki	Required
2	Positional parameter: the name of the subpage, without the name of the H game prefixed to the front	Required
display	By default, the text that gets displayed in the wiki link will be the same as the name of the subpage. If you want to override what gets displayed, use this parameter.	Optional
