LLDH subpoints

When I last brought these up, there was still dispute as to whether they applied, but the values are displayed in editors and could be confirmed by AA2Mem.

None of the interactions directly add LLDH points to the stack, they add a ratio of LLDH subpoints, modified by personality and trats, mood, type of interaction, success or failure, sexual orientation and current LLSH ranges. When a subpoint total reaches 30, a point is added to the stack (eh, the queue, if we're being precise) and subpoints roll over to 0 and add from there. Since multiple types are added, more than one can roll over and add to the stack from a single interaction. It's possible to accrue Love and Hate subpoints from the same interaction, and if the values are high enough, add them both to LLDH totals.

For a drastic example, try asking to become lovers when you already have a lover. This will add Love subpoints depending on Mood, success, and current Love range, but add Hate points based on that character's Virtue, and possibly how they feel about your lover. Even if they happily accept, you may find them in an Angry mood toward you.

The effect on Mood may require closer study to verify. I suggest that Mood changes only when an LLDH point is added to the stack, and based on whether the last point was Love, Like, Dislike or Hate. If a Love point goes on alone, the Mood becomes romantic, if Love and Like together the Mood becomes happy because the Like was added after Love. In the example above, both Love and Hate were added on a success, and Anger is expressed because Hate went on last. Fortunately reaction modifiers make it easy to assuage an upset lover and recover the Love. DokEnkephalin (talk) 22:48, 16 November 2014 (UTC)
