Illusion Wizzard
How to use Illusion Wizzard by darkhound to apply mods to School Mate 2.
Preparations
Follow the steps below to prepare Illusion Wizzard for use with School Mate 2.
IMPORTANT: If you want to use Illusion Wizzard with SM2 you must be careful to perform each step exactly as described!
- Download Illusion Wizzard 0.4.7 or later and extract it to a new folder of any name anywhere. We will refer to this folder as <IllusionWizzard> below.
- (this step is only needed if you have 0.4.6 or below) Copy the Illusion Wizzard Profile for School Mate 2 (SM2.pro) to "<IllusionWizzard>\_general\game_profiles".
- (this step is only needed if you have 0.4.6 or below) Copy PPextractor 0.9.x to "<IllusionWizzard>\_general\tools" (yes to overwrite).
- Run Illusion_Wizzard.exe from your <IllusionWizzard> folder.
- Select SM2 and click Start.
- Exit Illusion Wizzard.
Applying a mod
Follow the steps below to install a mod.
- Download a "wizzard ready" mod.
- Make sure that the mod is a 7zip archive (a *.7z file). If it's not, there may be several 7zip files in the archive (may be .rar, .zip) and you have to extract them before the next step.
- Copy the 7zip file(s) to "<IllusionWizzard>\SM2\mods" (do not extract it).
- Run Illusion_Wizzard.exe from your <IllusionWizzard> folder.
- Select SM2 and click Start.
- Click your mod in the list and click Apply mod.
- Wait while Illusion Wizzard is working.
- Done. Exit the Wizzard if you're done.
- Play the modded game.
Uninstalling a mod
Follow the steps below to uninstall a mod. Note that uninstalling a mod may not always work 100%. If you have problems after uninstalling a mod you should reinstall the game.
- Run Illusion_Wizzard.exe from your <IllusionWizzard> folder.
- Select SM2 and click Start.
- Select the Installed Mods tab.
- Click your mod in the list and click Remove mod.
- Wait while Illusion Wizzard is working.
- Done.
